Apple’s official stores listed AirPods Pro 3 at a different price in each of the eight markets this site checks. The live range below converts each listing at a dated reference exchange rate and leaves out the US and Canada, whose prices exclude sales tax and so are not comparable as they stand.

USD values use dated reference exchange rates (retrieved 2026-11-05), not a card rate. Markets whose shelf price excludes checkout tax are left out of this range.

A spread like this is the starting point, not the saving. Card fees, a refund that may or may not arrive, import tax at home and the trip itself all sit between a lower shelf price and a lower total.

The prices in local currency

These are the listings recorded from each Apple store on 1 November 2026, with the tax inside each price worked out by division. The tax column is the most a tourist refund could return before fees; it is not an estimate of an actual refund.

One detail stands out. The US and German stores both show 249, but the German euro price already contains EUR 39.76 of VAT, while the US dollar price has no tax in it yet. Matching digits across currencies say nothing about value; the guide to removing VAT from a price explains why the division matters.

Prices are snapshots, not stock checks. US and Canada exclude location-dependent checkout tax and are marked incomplete. Refunds, card costs, freight and destination taxes are excluded above. See the calculation rules.

Putting the US and Canadian prices on the same footing

A US or Canadian shelf price becomes comparable once the checkout tax is added. The rate depends on where you buy or where the order is delivered, so this site does not assume one. If your combined rate were 8%, for example, USD 249 would become USD 268.92 at checkout. Enter the real rate in the sales tax calculator, then compare with the tax-inclusive markets. The article on why US and Canadian prices exclude tax covers the details.

What a tourist refund could change

Visitors can sometimes reclaim part of the tax in the tax-inclusive markets, but only through the scheme’s own route: an eligible traveler, a participating store, an export check on departure and the operator’s fees. Using the UAE figures quoted by the Federal Tax Authority, the AED 949 price contains AED 45.19 of VAT; after the 13% deduction and the AED 3.60 fee, about AED 35.72 would come back. That is under 4% of the price.

Great Britain has no general tourist refund for goods carried home in luggage, so the UK price is the final price for a visitor. For Japan, Singapore, Germany and Australia, check the scheme notes and the store’s participation before counting on anything; the tourist refund calculator works out the payout once you have the operator’s figures, and why your refund is smaller than the tax explains the gaps.

Before buying a pair abroad

  • Hearing-health and translation features vary by region, language, paired device and software. Check the feature list for the country where you will use them.
  • The official box does not include a power adapter. Budget for a compatible charger.
  • Check warranty service and the return policy for the country of purchase. A refund scheme existing in a country does not mean an online store takes part in it.
  • Carrying a purchase home can trigger import tax above your traveler allowance. Run the allowance checker with everything else you bought.

How these prices are collected

Each price is read from the official Apple store for that country and stored with its check date. Hardware observations are flagged as stale after seven days. Stock is not checked, and engraving, trade-in and promotions are excluded. Exchange rates are reference rates with their own observation dates, not card rates. The sources page lists every store link, and the calculation rules explain the conversions.
